Objective:
This course aims are to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of Textile design principles, techniques, and product development processes. Through a structured curriculum students will acquire the necessary skills to excel in the dynamic field of Textile design. Engage in product development processes within the Textile industry, from concept ideation and prototyping to material sourcing and production planning, while considering market trends and consumer preferences.
Through hands-on projects, studio-based learning experiences, and industry-relevant case studies, this course aims to foster creativity, technical skill development, and critical thinking in the field of Textile design and product development. Students will be prepared to pursue careers as Textile Designers, product developers, print technicians, or entrepreneurs in the Textile industry.
